Casa Da Buena Vista B&B - Home Away from Home

If you're looking for a B&B with a homely feel, Casa Da Buena Vista B & B is the place to book. Nestled in the cool hills of Mandeville (Jamaica) Casa Da Buena is this parish's little gem. The rooms are decorated with love, complimented with thoughtful amenities. There's WiFi, hot water, cable TV, a desk & chair for those who need to do business. There's also a little snack with a variety of teas in each room.

I have to tell you about the beds. These are soooo comfortable! That's because each bed is covered with memory foam. You will not fail to have a good night sleep at this B&B. Look at how snug I am in that picture below:) Mandeville is cool so you don't need AC but there's a fan there if you need it.  The hosts are super-hosts of Airbnb. They definitely deserve that title. Lisa & Richard are welcoming & treat each guest as if they're family.

Continental breakfast is included. I had ackee & saltfish with boiled yam & bananas. Don't eat that? No worries, you can tell Lisa in advance what you like to eat. There was a little girl who wanted pancakes and that"s Lisa had prepared for her. She was so happy.

Lisa is very keen on details. For example, there's fresh flowers on the breakfast table every morning. The decor in the room is deliberately placed , cords are neatly arranged. The rooms are great & the service even greater. I honestly never expected this standard from a B&B. Casa Da Buena really sets the bar.

They have a beautiful garden . You'll see orchids, bougainvillea, sunflowers & so much more flora. Every morning you hear more than three little birds singing. It was rejuvenating. I work from home so it was a pleasant surprise that they didn't just have WiFi but a good connection. Google quickly loaded and I was able to do some research. I love that they had cable so I could watch a few movies at night. I haven't done that in a long time.

Mandeville is not a party city but it has perks that Kingston will never have. Casa Da Buena is in the hub of nature & relaxation. Only thing I needed to do was call a masseuse and all we like to say in Jamaica "and a it dat!". You can however do activities in the day and at parishes nearby such as the bread basket parish, St. Elizabeth. Check out my next article for details on what to do in Mandeville & St. Elizabeth

People from all over the world Visited Casa Da Buena

For the price that Casa Da Buena charged (minimum 65 US), it was more than worth it. I give this B&B 5 stars without reservations! It has inspired me to get some memory foam for my own bed hehe. I found one on Amazon ! Until next time, fuljoy life zeen.
